At Yosemite School Community Day (7-12), chronic absenteeism has risen 92% over the 5-year window — from 41.0% in 2017 to 78.6% in 2024. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 13.0% above in 2017 to 50.6% above in 2024.
