What we're seeing
At NEW SCOTLAND ELEMENTARY, chronic absenteeism has fallen 80% over the 5-year window — from 9.6% in 2015 to 2.0% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 18.4% below in 2015 to 26.0% below in 2020.
