At EDISON ELEMENTARY, chronic absenteeism has risen 10% over the 5-year window — from 36.8% in 2015 to 40.5% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 8.8% above in 2015 to 12.5% above in 2020.
